1. About HotSpot Billing Platform

HotSpot Billing Platform is a WiFi voucher management platform that enables businesses to sell internet access through MikroTik hotspot routers. The platform is operated by BGV Internet Services.

2. Account Registration

To use HotSpot Billing Platform, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Verify your email address within 14 days of registration
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Platform Usage

You agree to use HotSpot Billing Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform to sell internet access for illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's servers or networks
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account to another party
• Use automated tools to access the platform without prior written consent
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

4. Fees and Payments

HotSpot Billing Platform is free to use. We earn a commission on sales made through the platform, deducted automatically from online payments or settled at withdrawal for offline (cash) sales.

Commission rates are set by the platform administrator and displayed in your dashboard. Gateway fees charged by payment providers (Paystack, Flutterwave, Hubtel) are separate from platform commission and are deducted by the respective gateway.

You may withdraw your earnings to mobile money or bank at any time, subject to minimum withdrawal thresholds displayed in your dashboard.

5. Affiliate Programme

The affiliate programme allows you to earn commission by referring organisations to the platform. Affiliate commissions are calculated on sales made by referred organisations and paid from the platform's share — not from the organisation's earnings. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the affiliate programme at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials on HotSpot Billing Platform are owned by or licensed to BGV Internet Services. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, branding) but grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it to provide the service.

7. Uptime and Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Remain inactive for more than 90 days without adding a router
• Accumulate excessive chargebacks or payment disputes

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Outstanding wallet balances will be paid out upon account closure subject to verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

HotSpot Billing Platform and BGV Internet Services are not liable for:

• Loss of revenue due to platform downtime or technical issues
• Actions of your customers or end users
• Failures of third-party payment gateways or SMS providers
• Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total commission earned by the platform from your account in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of HotSpot Billing Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in your dashboard. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
